After a very successful 2009 golf season, the Pro Shop staff is looking forward to another great year of Junior Golf for 2010. Building on our momentum from the 2009 season, this year we have subtly ‘tweaked’ our traditional Wednesday program and added to our Summer golf camps to ensure an exciting and fun 2010.

The Wednesday (green circle program) is packed again this year with lots of good stuff. Our most popular program has a little bit of everything in it for all ages and skill levels. Each child or grandchild receives over 60 minutes of instruction plus time on the Par 3 Mason Course each day. Last year we also added a “qualified” junior element that allows for our juniors that are starting to excel to play the big course (for the 2010 season we’ve expanded on this concept, too). Don’t forget about golf camps (blue square program) for this year! These are a great way for kids to hone their skills in a small, fun environment and also get some closer one-on-one attention from a Pro! This year the camps are action packed. They all fall into the same full 4 Day week but can be broken down into 2 Day Camps as well.

The Junior Activities committee wanted to also remind all parents and grandparents that the Junior Scholarship is again available this year. This program is tailored to the Junior Golfer that is nearing high school or interested in possibly playing golf in college. Recipients will receive 4 complimentary months of membership to our most prestigious program, the CECC Junior Academy. Contact Adrian Burtner or Bryan Tunstill to apply.
