Golf Facilities
We offer two courses that are firm and playable year round. Our 18-Hole A.V. Macan course is consistently rated as one of the best in the Northwest. It measures 6823 yards from the tournament tees with 54 bunkers, a slope rating of 137 and an index of 73.2.
Our 9-Hole Par 3 Mason Course measures 860 yards from end-to-end and offers conditions and features that mirror the 18-Hole A.V. Macan designed course. It's perfect for players of all skill levels looking to grow their game.
In addition to our golf courses, Columbia Edgewater features some of the best practice facilities in the Pacific Northwest. We have two full acres dedicated to a short game practice area with a 14,000 square foot target green, four practice bunkers and a putting green. Our grass surfaced driving range allows members to practice on a true golf surface and rain shelters are available for those rainy winter days.

Course Conditioning
"These greens are the best I've ever seen. ... They're absolutely fantastic!"
~Annika Sorenstam
Founded in 1925, Columbia Edgewater remains dedicated to the game of golf. Our maintenance standards and renowned course conditioning reflect our commitment to excellence. The putting surfaces at Columbia Edgewater are second to none in the Portland area. To ensure optimal conditions, we mow 6-7 days per week and roll greens three to four times per week. Additionally, vertical mowing and light, frequent topdressing take place every two to three weeks during the summer.
Our fairways are also some of the best in the Northwest. This is a direct result of our successful topdressing, aerification and drainage programs, first implemented in 1995. Even during the wetter times of the year, we are significantly drier than virtually all other courses in our area. The incorporation of our rough sanding program in 2005 has enhanced the playability in those areas as well, ensuring that all aspects of the course are accessible to members during the winter months.
"I've been to hundreds of LPGA events, but never have seen a golf course that looked better. In my opinion, Columbia Edgewater is one of the best golf courses on the West Coast and one of America's great old courses."
